New Calm

There is a certain peace that washes over when you put your fear and anxiety aside and dare to put your dream in motion. Sometimes you need to step into the dark with perserverance as your only light. Sometimes the weight of fear and anxiety can slow you down and even cease your progress all together. Drop the heavy sandbags and dare to live.

I recently began this very process and I honestly feel different. I feel calm and relieved that I am going forward and not stuck in a cycle of worry and doubt. Constantly standing, pacing, and fretting at the starting line felt so stressful. Always too afraid to move. Once I started taking steps forward I had to drop the weight of worry to move freely and uninhibited. Starting can be a hurdle in itself. Lighten your load.

New Direction

Sometimes you’ve got to do something different if you want a different outcome. Sometimes the side roads and alleyways are the path to your destination. Sometimes the resources you need are not in the places you’d expect.

Listen to your gut?

Many of us have those hopes, dreams, and goals we dare not utter to another soul for fear of ourntiny flame being ousted. Perhaps your closest family member, spouse, or best friend may hear whispers of your deep desires and hidden wishes. Sometimes there isn’t another person you trust with the tiny dream in its infancy. Sometimes you are the only one that can fan your flame while holding a little umbrella to protect it from the doubtful downpour.

There are times when it feels as though we are the only ones in our corner with this gut feeling that we must protect and pursue our dream. Your dream may take you off of the well lit path into the dark dim terrsin. You may be unsure of your footing but your dream grows brighter lighting your path. One day when your flame shines bright you may look back and see others making their way down the trail you blazed.

Appgeyser Review: Create an android app in a few clicks?

I haven’t done a review in a while. Recently I was stumbled upon this website called Appgeyser. Appgeyser allows you to create a variety of apps from games to chat messenger apps without coding or needing any special skills. It is quite simple to use. You simply select the type of app you’d like to create and enter any necessary information and/or customizations.

You can save, share, and even monetize your apps by selling it on different android marketplaces or in-app advertisements (As long as your app is following the rules of Appgeyser and the individual marketplaces).

I created a few different apps using Appgeyser. Overall I was dissapointed. In my opinion and experience the apps were either very generic, malfunctioned, or just poor quality. Several times the apps would malfunction especially some of the games apps. Getting the apps onto different android marketplaces was a bit of a hassle especially when some marketplaces wanted further information in terms of proving the app was yours. The FAQ section of the website wasn’t very helpful outside of the basics of using the site.

I liked that they give you the option to monetize. Creating an app takes minutes and you can save and edit your apps. You can also download and test your apps.

The process of submitting your app to the android marketplaces they provided was time consuming. However this was an issue I had with the individual marketplaces not the site itself.

If you are just looking to try your hand at some quick and easy android apps for personal use with you and your friends. This site is ok for those purposes. If you are looking to actually monetize your apps and have more creative control beyond the scope of the websites tools I would not recommend this site.

I would recommend this site for those that have the skills needed to develop, monetize,  or modify an android app. This site may serve as a crude starting point. Overall, the simple apps that worked were fine. I had my greatest issue with getting the app onto other marketplaces. Perhaps others will have a better experience than I have.

Let me know below if you have ever tried using Appgeyser.

Have you ever had those dreams where everything is so vivdlid it could almpst be real? Those dreams always interest me. I tend to remember them a little better than most dreams. I often will replay the portions I remember and try to deduce some kind of meaning. Do You ever have dreams that repeat and progress over the years? I’ve had a couple. It’s weird it’s like watching an episode of a show you’ve seen before. You recognize the setting and characters, but this time you’re seeing part of the next episode as well. When you wake up you lay there pondering what could have contributed to such a dream.

There he was. The wind blows gently shifting each lock of hair. The sun shines down upon his face. His eyes so gentle yet cold. He’d lost her; the one that meant so much. His heart was fragile and on the verge of collapsing. Why did she leave him? What had he done? He had hoped to give her his soul, the moon, and the sun. She was the comfort that filled the night. She was the warmth on a winter’s day. Oh, how he remembered the way she’d walk with that alluring sway. The lips he used to touch were no longer there. He missed that fruity smell of her long hair.

He stared at the table in disbelief. There lay her keys to the apartment. She lived there no more. Her toothbrush was gone; not even a hair in drain. She’d erased her presence from his home. There was no letter. There was no goodbye. She simply was not there when he awoke. He tried to call but her number had changed. What could this be ? How could she just leave? Did his heart mean nothing? Last night she said she loved him, but now it’s just a lie. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a box. Tonight was the night he was going to give her this ring. He threw it on the table next to the keys. He wished he could throw his heart onto that table. He didn’t want to feel this. He didn’t ask for this. Where was she now? He wanted to know. Where was the girl he used to know?

Just some more practice.

When you don’t want to leave the house but you still want a panzerotti

Peek at the random panzerotti I threw together one day. I used whatever was in my cupboard at the time. It was a holiday so the stores were closed. It was tasty regardless of the random ingredients. Luckily I took some photos. It essentially turned out looking like a giant round bread bowl except it was covered in cheese and filled with deliciousness. I lost the standalone photo of the final product but you can see some of it in the last picture in the bottom right.
